moel Hebog 2011

PRESTATYN Running Club’s most prolific racer of recent months, super-vet David Owen, was in action against at the weekend – and this time was rewarded with a trophy for his efforts.

Having competed in several short races and some real “toughies” including the Welsh 1,000s and Foel Fras race, he has shown a huge improvement.

On Saturday he took on the Moel Hebog race which, although relatively short at only four miles, includes 2,400 feet of climbing and some very tricky sections. David won the M60 class in a time of 85.57.
