PRESTATYN Running Club helped to create a little bit of history in the Grand Prix Express North Wales Cross-Country League on Saturday when, for the first time, three generations of a family turned out.
Super-vet Roger Harrison-Jones, glad to be back after injury, competed in the M70 class, while his son Gareth had his first cross-country outing for the club, and grandson Oliver was in the U20 category and led the men’s team home.
Gordon Jones has been named as the club’s runner of the month for January after good runs in both the cross-country league and North Wales championships, being placed in the top three in the M50 class in both events.
