Hilly fartlek                 Using Aberconwy road and Tudor Avenue The aim is to run quickly up then using the downhill as recovery. 5 laps trying to keep times consistent.

 

Relay                           Using the circle (but only bottom half) splitting into groups of 3. you split equally around the route and the idea is to run a continuous relay for 20 minutes running to the next person as fast as you can and sending them on to the next person until you are tagged to run again.

 

Pyramid session          This is done on Winchester Avenue. Using lamp posts as markers you run 1 jog 1, run 2 jog 1, run 3 jog 1, run 4 jog one then turn around and run 4, jog 1, run 3 jog 1, run 2 jog 1 run 1, jog 1. Repeat 3 times with 2 minutes rest between each session.

 

Increasing Laps          Done by tip lane. The Idea is to run 5 laps increasing your time on each lap.  1minute rest between laps.
