Ladies Captain Report

Eleri Jones was the only PRC lady that competed in the Flintshire 10km this year and completed the distance in 51.51
At Abergele our numbers were down as well, but the ladies that were there came away with trophies. Amie was runner-up (for the second year running) in the u/17 Championships. Gabby was 2nd o/50 with Eleri Goddard 3rd o/35. The team of Sian, Gabby, Eleri and Amie were 2nt to Warrington.
In the Border League we had 10 ladies at Caernarfon. New member Anna Lewis had a great run to lead the team closely followed by Sian and then myself.. At Capenhurst   7 ladies competed. On this occasion Sian Beck led the team home followed by myself, Shelley, Eleri Goddard, Eleri Jones, Helen Baxandell and Helen Ashworth. After the first race we were 2nd behind Ellesmere Port by 3 pts but now although we are still lying 2nd the gap is now 46pts. With runners returning from injuries hopefully we will close the gap.
At cross country in Colwyn Bay Anna Lewis had a brilliant race to lead the team of 9 ladies home followed by Jo and myself.In the wind and the hailstones of Bangor cross country course the first five PRC ladies finished within 25second of each other. I led the team home followed by Shelly,Brenda, Gabby,  Katie and then Eleri Goddard Amie and Eleri Jones. At present the team is lying 4th in Div 2.
