An early report this week as Gareth is away on the annual club weekend trip. This weekends results will be included in next weekend’s report.

The Tuesday Evening Series of fellraces came to a close last week on one of the most scenic courses and popular courses in Aber.

Prestatyn Running Club's joint captains Lee Bailey and Gareth Jones have had their own friendly duel throughout the season and this time the latter took the honours, finishing one place ahead of his clubmate.

Supervet Neil Davidson has enjoyed his first ventures onto the fells and Ann Claire Jones has maintained her role as the club's leading female fellrunner.

The placings were: 24 Gareth Jones 39.10, 25 Lee Bailey 39.32, 99 Neil Davidson 51.19, 129 Ann Claire Jones 65.37.

Andy Scott was the club's sole representative in the Warrington 10k, with the hot weather affecting the finishing times. He finished 188th in 57.43.
