Saturday's Nova Parkrun resulted in an unprecedented outcome for Prestatyn Running Club, with members claiming the first four places and seven of the first 10.
The perfect conditions helped three members to claim personal bests for the course, the most amazing being that of Tom Coen, who, in finishing fourth, took over two minutes off his previous best.
The other two pbs were by Matty Smith and Paul Robson, both still in the process of making comebacks.
The placings were: 1 Tom Carter 17.43, 2 Dafydd Montgomery 19.29, 3 Matty Smith 19.38 (pb), 4 Tom Coen 20.01 (pb), 6 Lewis Pierce 20.50, 9 Lisa Lines 21.16 (1sr Female), 10 Dave Ellis 21.17, 12 Jamie Betts 21.45, 22 Paul Robson 23.44 (pb), 25 Neil Davidson 24.16, 26 Andy Thomas 24.19, 35 Philip Howarth 26.41, 48 Nem James 27.25, 66 Judah Eastwell 29.15, 117 Karl Martin 33.48, 118 Claudia Smith 33.52.
There were pbs, too, for husband and wife Steve and Debbie Weedman in the third Llandrill-yn-Rhos Promenad Parkrun which again attracted 300 runners. The club placings were: 11 Ben Garnett 19.26, 39 Leah Hughes 21.48, 71 Steve Weedman 24.08 (pb), 211 Debbie Weedman 30.39 (pb).
David Hudd was the club's sole representative in the Ruthin Parkrun and he also chalked up a pb, coming 4th overall in 19.53.

On Monday December 22 the club will be holding its annual pre-Christmas fancy-dress social run, when donations of cash and food items will be collected for the Prestatyn and Meliden Food Bank.
